Congratulations to the 2024-2025 Spirit of CSN Grant Award Recipients

CSN Hygiene Kits

This proposal provides free basic need hygiene products to students at all three Campus Life Coyote cupboards. This proposal will fund supplies and printing for this initiative.

Sankofa English 101 and 102 Initiative

As a retention program for African American students, the Division of Student Affairs and the English Department has created the Sankofa English Initiative offering a combination of four to five sections of English 101/102 classes in the fall and spring semesters. This proposal will fund books and supplies for the Sankofa initiative.

The purpose of the Spirit of CSN Grant Award is to support faculty, staff, and student clubs in furthering CSN’s mission to support our commitment to students first. Proposals must support CSN’s mission to empower our students and community to achieve, succeed and prosper and our expectation that CSN students will graduate, complete or transfer. Priority consideration will be given to projects, programs, initiatives, or activities that support CSN and NSHE goals that move the CSN student success metrics forward.
