CSN Student Emergency Fund
Responding to Uncertainty
Many thanks to many donors for their generous gifts to the CSN Student Emergency Fund. They have given more than $280,000 to support students’ short-term financial needs so they can stay in school. Since January 2020, the fund has distributed more than $230,000 in grants to students, and applications are being received daily.
Many thanks to Charles Schwab Bank and the Wells Fargo Foundation for their challenge matches, which added $40,000 and encouraged donations. A grant from the United Way of Southern Nevada also supports this effort.
Hot 97.5 & David Wilson Toyota of Las Vegas
For many years, the leadership at Hot 97.5 and David Wilson Toyota of Las Vegas has supported CSN student success. Congratulations to Corey Colley and Anthony Linares! Each student received a $3,000 scholarship and a new laptop. This annual scholarship supports a first-generation college student and a CSN student studying Transportation Technology. Many thanks to Scott Redden from Wilson Toyota, Marty Basch, and Frank Feder for their commitment to moving students forward at CSN!
