Scholarship Information

Applications have closed for the 2021-2022 academic year. Thank you to those that applied.

Recipients will be notified in April if awarded.

For Future Applicants

Whether you’re a high school student, college student, nontraditional, or adult-learner, colleges offer scholarships to recruit a talented and diverse student body.

CSN Foundation scholarships have been made possible through the generosity of community donors committed to supporting CSN student success. Every scholarship lowers or eliminates the education debt students carry. CSN and our community are focused on creating a college-going culture in Southern Nevada. Each scholarship has a focus area and eligibility criteria according to the wishes of the donors. Students will be notified in April if they have been awarded a scholarship. CSN Financial Aid will disperse awards to student accounts for Fall 2021.

If you have questions about scholarships or the application, please contact the Foundation office at Foundation@csn.edu or 702-651-7738.

Review qualification criteria

The first step is to make sure you qualify for the scholarship.  Apply for every scholarship for which you are eligible. Every dollar you earn in scholarships is a dollar less you have to borrow.

Plan Ahead

Some scholarships have additional requirements, such as letters of recommendation.  Be sure to give yourself enough time to gather necessary materials.

Keep an eye on deadline dates

The deadline to apply is January 31st.  Mark your calendar so you don’t miss this opportunity.

Repurpose or reuse your essays

Writing a strong essay can help you stand out among applicants. Essays can often be reused on multiple scholarship applications with slight tweaks, saving you a lot of time.
