CSN Foundation

Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, we are fundraising to support the Student Emergency Fund.

The Student Emergency Fund provides essential support for CSN students who face an urgent, unforeseen, and non-recurring emergency, including the loss of job or housing, unexpected medical expenses, or replacement of essential items due to fire, natural disaster, or theft. With your contribution, a student can stay enrolled and complete their education.

We are thrilled that the Gene Haas Foundation is matching all gifts made to the Student Emergency Fund up to $50,000!

Why are we supporting the Student Emergency Fund?
A sudden loss of income, housing, or transportation should not force any student to abandon their dreams of graduating from the College of Southern Nevada. You can help support students when faced with an urgent, unforeseen, and non-recurring emergency by donating to the Student Emergency Fund today.

How does the Matching Gift Work?
We are so grateful to the Gene Haas Foundation for providing this gift. They are matching all donations to support the student emergency fund up to $50,000. When you donate on our Giving Tuesday page, we’ll track the contribution, and the Gene Haas Foundation will donate to double your gift.

Can I donate via check instead?
Of course! Please send a check made payable to the CSN Foundation along with contact information and a note mentioning this is for the Student Emergency Fund.
